We have received funding from the Kamprad Family Foundation for exploring product life-cycles from a user perspective! The project A User Perspective on Product Life-Cycles will be carried out by a research team at Chalmers in collaboration with the service design firm Transformator Design and Hultafors group who develop products for the professional craftsperson. The project will run from 2016-09-01 until 2019-08-31.

The focus will be on exploring what a user-perspective may entail for design with the overall aim to develop methods and tools for supporting industry to develop circular offers. An combined overview of a person’s consumption process and a product’s life-cycle stages will be used as a base for developing new methods and tools.
